Our interest in automation came from working in the field and seeing the same customer pain points replicated across industries. Our philosophy really came from observing the latest trends and seeing their effectiveness in helping customers develop faster, which brought us to our no-code solution.
Founder and CEO
Julie Russell started Diamond Edge IT in 2014 as a services company. Based on her industry knowledge she came up with the idea and patented Smart Code. In 2023 Smart Code launched as a full no-code platform for integration development.
Julie is an Integration Architect and has partnered with IBM and Salesforce to help an abundance of customers under the Professional Services banner.
In 2018, Julie featured as a speaker for MuleSoft Connect where she talked about “Adopting Microservices : Stories of Success and Failure”. In her presentation she discussed core software engineering principles in the visual paradigm.
Today Julie is focused on two things: automation and code quality, which are prevalent through her products and published articles.
